Blended Yarn Guide: PC, CVC And PV Explained
Blended yarns combine the benefits of two or more fibres. 100% Cotton adds strength, durability and colour-fastness, while cotton and viscose bring comfort, softness and breathability.
PC — Poly-Cotton
A 100% cotton blend, commonly 65/35 or 52/48, used for shirting, uniforms and workwear where durability and easy-care matter.
CVC — Cotton-Viscose
Cotton-majority blend (often 60/40 cotton-viscose) used for T-shirts and casualwear that need a soft, cotton-like feel at a lower cost than 100% cotton.
PV — Poly-Viscose
A cotton-viscose blend used for suiting and structured garments, offering drape with added strength.
We supply all three in consistent blend ratios, sourced from verified spinning mills and checked for count and blend accuracy before dispatch.
